Sample Two-Week Course
This course is for those who currently are or those who wish to become teachers of English as an Additional Language (EAL). At the Kildare Language Institute, we know a lot about teaching English as an Additional Language to pre-school, primary, secondary, third level students and beyond – from the day-to-day issues you encounter to the latest developments in language acquisition & ICT in teaching & learning.
We know that you require an enriching yet an enjoyable learning experience. Afternoon activities / excursions take place Monday to Friday afternoons. In addition, each Saturday there is a full-day excursion. Samples include:
The Kildare Language Institute provides a range of accommodation options. All accommodation is carefully selected and inspected to ensure you receive the highest possible standards. All accommodation is within walking distance of KLI.
For your Language Course
Average class size: 10 – 12 students (max. 15 students). Student numbers in each class are kept low to ensure greater student interaction and progress!
All our teachers are highly qualified, university graduate native speakers with years of experience teaching English as an Additional Language. All our staff are friendly and approachable and enjoy an excellent rapport with students. Our teaching approach is 100% student centred.

Upon successful completion of a course each student receives an official certificate certified by the Kildare Language Institute. In addition, each student also receives a detailed Progress Report. Certificates of Attendance are also available on request.
