Although translations in other languages of any of the foregoing documents may be available, such translations may not be up to date or complete. Accordingly, you agree that in the event of any conflict between the English language version of the forgoing documents and any other translations thereto, the English language version of such documents shall govern.
The Kildare Language Institute Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which Web Trader Code of Practice.
The information we collect about you includes your name, address, phone number, email address and credit/debit card details. This information is necessary for us to process your order and provide you with the best possible service.
The Kildare Language Institute Ltd. does not disclose customers' information to any third parties.
We do not collect sensitive information about you and the information we do hold will be accurate and up-to-date. You can contact us to check the information we hold about you and we will amend it accordingly if inaccuracies are found. The personal information we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which Web Trader Code.
The Kildare Language Institute requires a minimum number of enrolments for each course. If the Kildare Language Institute Ltd cancels a course before it commences, registered students will be given as much notice as possible.
Our liability however will be limited to a refund of the course fees in full. If in the unlikely event the Kildare Language Institute cancels a course during the duration of the term, fees will be returnable in full only for the number of lessons the student would have missed out on.
If a student who has registered for a course at KLI decides that he/she does not wish to do the course a letter of cancellation by the student should be sent in writing to KLI at least 14 days before the course starts. Full refunds of course fees will be made, less a €150 cancellation fee. After this time no refund will apply. Fees are non refundable after the course has started.
In the event that a study visa application is unsuccessful, all fees will be refunded less bank charges. However, if a student does not acquire a Visa on time the above cancellation policy applies.
No refund is given for late arrivals, early departures or absences, for whatever reason, from classes during any course.
No refund is given for students who change from an Intensive Course / Business Course to General Courses.
Under no circumstances will KLI refund, either partially or fully, any course fees once the student has commenced their contracted course of study.
No refunds are given for absence from accommodation for occasional days.
No refunds are given for absence from extra curricular activities / events.
Fees: All fees for Summer Courses must be paid in full in Euro 28 days prior to arrival. Services will only be provided when payment is received. Fees are non transferable. Registration will be confirmed for each student only upon receipt of completed Registration Form and full payment of fees.
Host Family Changes: A fee of €150 must be paid if a student insists on moving to a different host family without due cause. This must be paid before moving.
Insurance: Before arrival in Ireland, all persons participating in Kildare Language Institute programmes must arrange their own insurance against all expenses that might arise due to accident, illness or loss of luggage, personal effects and money.
Providers of activities such as horse riding, cycling etc. insist that minors have an insurance waiver signed by their parent, guardian or group leader before commencement of such activities. The Kildare Language Institute Ltd is precluded by the terms of its own insurance policy from signing such insurance waivers.
Health Problems: The Kildare Language Institute Ltd must be advised of any health problems or specific dietary requirements of participants at the time of booking.
Damage: Programme participants are liable for any damage caused by them and payment for such damage must be made immediately.
Programmes: The Kildare Language Institute Ltd will only be liable to provide groups and / or individuals with the programme agreed in writing with its agent / client.
The Kildare Language Institute Ltd does not accept responsibility for costs incurred due to flight delays, i.e. accommodation etc.
The Kildare Language Institute Ltd does not accept responsibility for loss or theft of belongings.
