The Kildare Language Institute recognises that languages often appear very difficult especially when you are under the pressure of the Junior or Leaving Certificate. When we say we are ‘the easy way to learn’, we mean it! We want you to excel at KLI – that is why we promise to keep pupil numbers in each class low. We believe in an interactive environment where students can ask questions and engage fully with the subject area. We monitor each student’s progress to ensure that he/she is achieving his/her maximum potential.

General Course Content

Each course is specifically structured with clear aims and objectives to ensure that each student makes significant progress on a weekly basis. All core areas are covered – Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening, Vocabulary, Grammar, Pronunciation as well as other key areas. A significant emphasis is placed on students becoming more confident and fluent speaking the language. Students attending classes at the Kildare Language Institute also receive superior quality copyright notes as well as detailed instruction on exam techniques to enhance their exam performance.

Various teaching techniques and stimuli are used to further enhance learning. Classes are taught in an interactive and relaxed atmosphere where students are encouraged to ask questions and participate fully in class. As well as providing you with the highest standards of teaching, we remain committed to ensuring that each student studies in a friendly, caring and supportive environment. We monitor each student’s progress to ensure that he/she achieves his/her maximum potential.

Each student is assessed weekly by way of a 5-minute written exam in order to ensure that he/she is making significant progress on a weekly basis.

Mock Oral Exam
Mock Oral Exam

Prior to the State Oral Exams, each student is invited to avail of a mock oral exam with a trained and experienced oral examiner. After the mock oral, students receive detailed feedback on how to further improve their performance.

All registered Kildare Language Institute Students are given a secure password to check out their attendance, exam results, teacher comments, Institute calendar and lots lots more online. In addition, parents / guardians may also avail of a Parent / Guardian Online Account to access their son’s / daughter’s attendance records, exam grades, teacher comments and so much more.
