General Course Content

Each course is specifically structured with clear aims and objectives to ensure that each student makes significant progress on a daily basis. While all core areas are covered – including Reading, Writing, Listening, Vocabulary, Grammar, and Pronunciation, significant emphasis is placed on speaking the language and being able to perfect everyday usage on several themes e.g. introducing oneself, speaking about one’s family, talking about hobbies and interests, giving directions, ordering food, etc. This is all achieved in a fun and interactive way where pupils are encouraged to ask questions and participate fully.

All second-level students are taught the target language with significant consideration given to the Junior and Leaving Certificate Syllabi. Students preparing for the Leaving Certificate do intensive preparation for their oral exam.

Various teaching techniques and stimuli are used to further enhance learning. As well as providing you with the highest standards of teaching, we remain committed to ensuring that each student studies in a friendly, caring and supportive environment.
